Something truly unique.
Sometimes the market adores it.
Sometimes the market abhors it.
So how do you know when you're right?
Sometimes, it's a matter of faith-- and vision.
In the '90s, The Burroughs-Chapin Company had, quite literally, a groundbreaking vision
to create a magnificent, upscale development
on 2,200 acres in Myrtle Beach. There were those who scoffed, including a market research firm.
Multimillion dollar homes in Myrtle Beach? They thought not.
But the Burroughs & Chapin kept the faith, and began to recruit builders who saw the same possibilities.
The first models were built
and sold quickly.
Burroughs & Chapin gave authenticity to the vision - and did that with the first neighborhoods. At the same time, B&C were also working
on the Ocean Club, and the signature bridge that provides such a strong brand landmark for the development.
Some few years later, the Mediterranean style of Grande Dunes is its own landmark in Myrtle Beach, gracing not only the private Ocean Club,
but the Members Club and Resort Club, the Marina Inn & Villas and hundreds of gracious and well loved homes.
As for the doubters? They seem to be very, very quiet
